My Background
It’s my conviction that body-based practices hold transformative power. It’s a belief that’s grounded in my own lived experience of overcoming eating disorders, body dysmorphia, substance abuse and various other mental health challenges. In my late 20’s, a lifelong fascination with human anatomy and physiology coincided with a process of spiritual awakening as I attended various meditation retreats and began to practice mindfulness on a daily basis. It became clear to me that our bodies are the gateways to deeper experiences of self.
“For me, the body is a refuge we can return to, even in the midst of intense personal challenges.”
Over the years practices like yoga, qigong, meditation and dance, as well as cultivating relationships to the earth and other-than-humans, have helped me to find stability within myself when everything around me was falling apart.
I’m passionate about guiding people back to the simple yet profound experience of feeling at home in their own skin. Whether you’re working on chronic pain, stress relief, or deeper emotional issues, my role is to hold a safe container where your natural wisdom can emerge. Healing can only occur when we learn to truly listen to the body, mind, and spirit.
