Why YogA?
Hatha Yoga is one of the many forms of Yoga that originated in India. The word yoga means "to yoke" or "to unite." In the West, yoga is often associated with physical practice—postures, breathwork, and relaxation—but at its heart, it’s a moving meditation.
For me, yoga has been a cornerstone of both self-care and spiritual practice for years. It’s a ritual that brings breath, body, and awareness into harmony. Teaching allows me to share the restorative, grounding, and life-affirming power of movement with others who are looking to create more balance in their lives.
Hatha Flow & Vinyasa: I offer playful and creative sequences that promote both strength and flexibility. Cultivating the power of breath (pranayama) is as important as the postures (asanas)
Yin Yoga: A synthesis of yoga and Daoist philosophy that targets the deeper connective tissues such as joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. With the support of various props, postures are typically held for many minutes at a time. This style is ideal for melting stress and cultivating presence.
Qigong: A foundational practice in traditional Chinese medicine that incorporates slow, mindful, and fluid movement. Regulates the nervous system, deepens the felt sense of the body, and promotes the flow of vitality.
